EDIT - Khoisan tradition - "q" in Zulu orthography

EDIT Linguistics In the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) it represents the sound of the Retroflex Click in some southafrican languages like that of the !Xoon in Namibia or the !Ko in Botswana. It is one of five different clicks and is created by quickly detaching the tongue from the roof of the mouth.
