EDIT
Wheelchair Among the twelve handicapped symbols, the Wheelchair may well be the most well-known. It symbolises a mobility handicap, {i. e.} people with walking difficulties. The Wheelchair is often mistaken for a general handicap symbol which, in fact, does not exist. In July 1990, the US American Congress passed a bill granting the handicapped exactly the same rights as other minority groups according to the 1964 Civil Rights Act. This law prohibits discrimination and demands of public and certain private facilities to be disabled friendly. The Wheelchair symbol is used to indicate handicapped accessible buildings, buses, trains etc. and as disabled parking sign.
