EDIT Linguistics In the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) it represents the sound of the dental click in some South African languages like that of the !Xoon in Namibia or the !Ko in Botswana. It is one of five different clicks and is created by quickly detaching the tongue from the inside of the incisors. It sound like the click people sumetimes produce as a noise of surprise or indignation.
