EDIT
Usage: it is used in Catalan to seperate two \"L\" if they do not belong to the same syllable
-- The complete character used ONLY in catalan is \'ŀl\' or \'ĿL\' (ela geminada). However, Unicode doesn\'t recognize this character as it should be (a single character \"l·l\") and so there\'s no way of writing it correctly. This is a very big problem that should be fixed urgently. You can find more info in: http://www.tug.org/TUGboat/Articles/tb16-3/tb48vali.pdf http://femfum.com/PDF/ElaGeminada/5JPL_PonenciaElaGeminada.pdf (in catalan) |
