BEARBEITEN Recycling-Code für PP Das obige Zeichen, auch mit der Kennzeichnung »05«, steht für den Kunststoff Polypropylen, kurz PP. Er wird verwendet für Produkte wie Eisbehälter, Strohhalme, Kartoffelchipsbeutel, Gartenmöbel und Mikrowellengeschirr.
Das Zeichensystem für das Recycling von Kunststoffen (engl. Resin identification code) wurde 1988 von der Society of the Plastics Industry veröffentlicht.
